Privacy Policy

Data collection
KinoTrain does not require an account, create user profiles, or store personal data in an application database.
Network requests
To provide gameplay, the app sends read-only HTTPS requests directly from your device to The Movie Database (TMDB). TMDB may receive your IP address and technical request information when processing these requests. KinoTrain does not operate an intermediary server and does not receive or store this information.
Analytics
KinoTrain uses Aptabase, an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics service, to collect anonymous usage events — for example app opens, game completion, move count, completion time, and feature use. Events also include technical context such as app version, operating-system version, locale, and a temporary session identifier. This information is not linked to your identity, contains no advertising identifiers, is never used to track you across apps, and is never sold. KinoTrain contains no advertising or crash-reporting SDKs.
Data stored on your device
The app stores your settings, tutorial status, gameplay statistics, streaks, daily results, recent puzzle history, and KinoTrain Plus preferences locally on your device. Android cloud backup is disabled. These local records are not synchronized to an account or application database.
The Movie Database
Movie data and images are provided by TMDB. Read the TMDB privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
KinoTrain does not operate an application server or retain TMDB request logs. TMDB handles information it receives according to its own privacy policy. Delete the app to remove all locally stored data. Anonymous analytics events are handled by Aptabase according to its privacy policy.
